How do we know that Jesus is willing to save us?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus' willingness to save is demonstrated by His sacrificial death and continual readiness to receive those who come to Him by faith.

The evidence of Christ's willing heart to save is found in His incarnation and crucifixion. He did not hesitate to accept the suffering that lay ahead, as shown in His resolute journey to Jerusalem (Luke 9:51). This willingness is rooted in His love for sinners and is a cornerstone of the assurance we have in our faith. Believers can trust that when they come to Christ, they will not meet with rejection, for He openly calls all to Him. Our doubt often arises from our ignorance and pride; however, the sufficiency of Christ to save is never in question.
