How do we know that Jesus must increase in our lives?

The necessity for Christ's increase in our lives is evident through scripture. John the Baptist, who recognized Christ's preeminence, declared that Jesus is 'above all' (John 3:31). As believers delve deeper into their relationship with Christ, they come to realize His eternal nature and sufficiency.
