How do we know that Jesus prepares a place for us?

Answered in 3 sources

Jesus assures His followers that He goes to prepare a place for them in His Father's house, signifying their eternal home.

In John 14:2-3, Jesus says, 'In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.' This preparation is not about physical dwellings but represents spiritual acceptance and atonement before God. It conveys His role in ensuring that believers are welcomed into eternal communion with the Father, underscoring the grace and love inherent in His sacrificial work.
