How do we know that Jesus removed the fear of death?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus removed the fear of death by taking on sin and offering salvation, thus removing its sting for believers.

Jesus Christ removed the sting of death, which is sin, as explained in 1 Corinthians 15:54-57. The fear of death is tied to the awareness of sin and its consequences—sin leads to judgment and ultimately death. However, through His death and resurrection, Jesus has taken on the punishment for sin, removing its power over believers. This is why the Scripture assures us that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). By living a perfect life and dying as our substitute, Jesus has enabled us to face death without fear, knowing that it has been defeated. Our hope lies in the assurance of eternal life with Him.
