How do we know that Jesus reveals Himself to believers?

Jesus declared in John 14:21 that His manifestation is tied to loving Him and keeping His commandments. He elaborates that the Father will love those who respond to this revelation, and both Jesus and the Father will make their home with them. The Holy Spirit plays a crucial role in this revelation (John 14:17), affirming that believers, having the Spirit, can truly understand and appreciate the person of Christ.
