How do we know that Jesus' sacrifice is sufficient for our salvation?

Answered in 2 sources

We know Jesus' sacrifice is sufficient because His death effectively redeemed us, justified us before God, and is the basis for our salvation, as proclaimed in Scripture.

The sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice is supported by numerous biblical passages. For example, Romans 8:32 assures us that if God did not spare His own Son, He will freely give us all things necessary for salvation. This highlights that Christ's death was not just an act of love but a necessary payment that secured our redemption. According to Hebrews 9:22, without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin. The whole of God's plan for salvation is contingent upon the atoning work of Christ, making His sacrifice wholly sufficient for our justification, sanctification, and ultimate glorification.
