How do we know that Jesus saves sinners?

Answered in 11 sources

We know Jesus saves sinners through His teachings and actions, as He consistently reached out to those in need of grace and demonstrated His power to forgive.

Jesus unequivocally stated that He came into the world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15). His interactions with individuals like the woman caught in adultery illustrate this divine mission. In her moment of humiliation and guilt, He offered forgiveness and hope, saying, 'Neither do I condemn thee; go and sin no more' (John 8:11). This reveals not only His mission to redeem but also His power to transform lives. The New Testament is filled with accounts of Christ extending mercy to those whom society rejected, proving that no sinner is beyond His reach. His sacrificial death on the cross was the ultimate display of this truth, as He became a ransom to redeem His people from their sins (Mark 10:45).
