How do we know that Jesus submitted to God?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's submission to God is evident throughout His earthly life, exemplified by His obedience to His parents and baptism.

The life of Jesus Christ clearly illustrates His submission to God the Father. He subjected Himself to Mary and Joseph during His childhood, demonstrating obedience and humility, as seen in Luke 2:24 where He fulfilled the requirements of the law despite His divine nature. Furthermore, at His baptism in Matthew 3, Jesus willingly submitted to John the Baptist to fulfill all righteousness, thereby affirming God’s authority and His mission on earth. Ultimately, even during His crucifixion, Jesus submitted His spirit into the Father's hands, exemplifying complete trust and obedience.
