How do we know that Jesus' testimony is true?

Answered in 2 sources

Jesus's testimony is true because He spoke with authority and was validated by His actions, including His resurrection (John 8:14).

In John 8:14, Jesus asserts, 'Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.' His claim to truthfulness rests on His unique relationship with the Father and His divine origin. The Synoptic Gospels and apostolic writings also corroborate His claims, illustrating His fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies, miraculous works, and ultimately His resurrection from the dead, which serves as the ultimate validation of His identity as the Son of God. The consistent witness of Scripture and the transformative power of His message further affirm the truth of His testimony.
