How do we know that Jesus truly loves us?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus' love is evidenced through His sacrifice and continuous intercession for us (Romans 8:32).

We know that Jesus loves us deeply and irrevocably through His sacrificial death on the cross and His ongoing intercession on our behalf. Romans 8:32 powerfully states, 'He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?' This assurance is foundational to our confidence in Jesus' love. Despite our imperfections and the trials we face, we can trust that He is committed to our well-being and salvation. The depth of this love is further demonstrated in how He walks alongside us through joys and sorrows, reminding us that nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:35-37).
