How do we know that Jesus was God made flesh?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus, as the Word, was made flesh, fulfilling God's promise of a Savior.

In the Gospel of Luke, particularly in Luke 2:1-11, we find the account of Jesus' birth, underscoring the reality that God was made flesh. Both John 1:14 and Luke's narrative present Jesus as the incarnate Word—the divine coming into human form to fulfill the redemptive purpose of God for His people. This incarnation was necessary for Him to serve as our faithful high priest and to make atonement for our sins. We see a profound theological truth in that the God-man, Jesus, came to save His elect, being both fully divine and fully human, which is central to saving faith and understanding of who Christ is.
