How do we know that Jesus was sinless?

Answered in 4 sources

We know Jesus was sinless because Scripture repeatedly affirms His perfection and absence of sin throughout His life.

The sinlessness of Jesus is emphasized in various New Testament passages, such as Hebrews 4:15, which states that He was tempted in all points yet without sin. Additionally, 2 Corinthians 5:21 asserts that He was made sin for us although He knew no sin. Thus, His sinless life is vital because it qualifies Him as our Lamb without blemish, and His perfection ensures that when He bore our sin, He did not have sin of His own to atone for. This characteristic of Christ is integral to His nature as both fully God and fully man, allowing Him to serve as our perfect substitute.
