How do we know that Jesus' work for salvation is complete?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus' declaration 'It is finished' assures us His work for salvation is fully accomplished and sufficient.

'It is finished' is more than a proclamation; it is a declaration of the completed work of redemption. Jesus came to fulfill the law and offer Himself as the perfect sacrifice for sin. By stating this before His death, He reassures believers that the price for sin has been fully paid. All of God's justice has been satisfied through His death, and His resurrection further attests to the completion of this salvific work, affirming that there is no other Savior but Him.
