How do we know that justification comes through Christ and not the law?

Answered in 1 source

Justification comes solely through faith in Jesus Christ and not through the works of the law, as emphasized in the New Testament.

In Acts 13:38-39, Paul clearly states that through Jesus, forgiveness of sins is preached, and by Him, all who believe are justified from all things from which the law of Moses could not justify them. The law serves to reveal sin rather than to redeem, as it lacks the power to save. Justification is granted freely through grace by faith in Christ, who fulfilled the law on behalf of believers. This underscores the impossibility of achieving righteousness through human efforts or adherence to the law, affirming that salvation is a gift of God's sovereign grace.
