How do we know that living sacrifices are acceptable to God?

Answered in 1 source

Living sacrifices are acceptable to God when they are transformed by His mercies and focused on Christ.

Romans 12:1 explains that presenting our bodies as living sacrifices is our reasonable service in response to God's mercies. This act is acceptable when it is grounded in the understanding of Christ's sacrificial work. The call to be transformed points to a significant inward change that goes beyond mere outward actions. Instead of measuring our worth by our moral effort or deeds, we acknowledge that true sacrifice is only found in alignment with the work of Christ, the ultimate sacrifice. We are reminded that even our best efforts are insufficient without faith in Him.
