How do we know that looking to Christ is sufficient for salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Looking to Christ is sufficient because He fulfills the law and provides full redemption.

In the sermon, it is emphasized that just as the Israelites were to look to the brazen serpent for physical healing, believers are to look to Christ for spiritual healing and salvation. The need for faith in Christ is reinforced through the teaching that the same nature that caused sin must also render satisfaction. Christ, being fully God and fully man, is uniquely positioned to bear the sin of humanity on the cross. The Scriptures confirm that salvation is found in no one else (Acts 4:12). Therefore, looking to Christ—believing in His work—is the only means of securing eternal life, as His sacrifice provides the complete remedy for our sins.
