How do we know that man is insignificant before God?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible explicitly states that man is like grass and ultimately insignificant compared to God's grandeur.

The insignificance of man in the sight of God is a recurring theme in scripture. As stated in Isaiah 40:6, 'all flesh is as grass' and in Psalms 39:5, 'every man at his best estate is altogether vanity.' This perspective stresses the stark contrast between the infinite greatness of God and the frailty of humanity. The more we comprehend God's majesty, the more we recognize our own limitations and need for His redemptive grace through Christ, who alone gives us worth and purpose.
