How do we know that man is unable to come to Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture clearly states that no man can come to Christ unless drawn by the Father (John 6:44).

According to John 6:44, 'No man can come to Me except the Father which hath sent Me draw him.' This illustrates the total depravity of man, affirming that due to our sinful nature, we are both unable and unwilling to come to Christ on our own. The text reveals that apart from divine intervention, individuals will not seek God. This is aligned with the Reformed understanding of total depravity, which holds that sin has affected every aspect of human nature, rendering us helpless in achieving salvation by our own efforts.
