How do we know that no one can lose their salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture affirms that those whom Christ has redeemed will never be lost, as He will raise them up at the last day.

The doctrine of the perseverance of the saints assures us that once a person is genuinely saved, they cannot lose their salvation. This is rooted in the sovereignty of God's electing grace, where Jesus assures us in John 6:39 that He will lose nothing of all that the Father has given Him. The overarching theme of God's unbreakable covenant underscores that not one of Christ's sheep can be plucked from His hand, as emphasized in John 10:27-29. Additionally, Romans 8:28-30 affirms that all who are justified will be glorified, illustrating the certainty and security of salvation. Thus, the promise of eternal life includes the guarantee that God will keep His covenant people secure in His grace.
