How do we know that only God can open blind eyes?

Answered in 1 source

Only God has the power to open the blind eyes of sinners, which is a work of divine creation.

The sermon emphasizes that the act of opening blind eyes is solely an act of God's omnipotence. Just as God commanded light to exist at creation, He must similarly command spiritual light to shine in the hearts of those who are blind to spiritual truths. In John 9:32, the man born blind states that since the world began, it has never been heard of that anyone opened the eyes of one born blind. This illustrates the extraordinary nature of spiritual sight as an act beyond human ability—only God can effect this miraculous change in the heart and mind of a person, enlightening them to see their sin and the beauty of Christ's righteousness.
