How do we know that our calling is to love and serve others?

Answered in 1 source

Our calling to love and serve others is rooted in Christ's example and command, as believers are urged to follow His lead in humility and service.

In Ephesians 4:2-3, believers are instructed to embody qualities like lowliness, meekness, and long-suffering, which exemplify Christ's own character. Our calling flows directly from the love Christ has shown us; He forgave us when we were undeserving, and thus invites us to reflect that same love towards others. This calling is not optional for believers but rather a fundamental aspect of our identity in Christ. Together, as members of one body, we carry the responsibility to support one another, fostering unity and exemplifying love in our interactions.
