How do we know that our hope in Christ is true?

Answered in 2 sources

Our hope in Christ is validated by His faithfulness, the fulfillment of God's promises, and the resurrection.

Our confidence in the hope we have in Christ arises not from our own efforts, but from God's unchanging nature and His covenant promises. Lamentations 3:22-23 highlights God's faithfulness and mercies, which are new every morning. We see this reliability demonstrated through the resurrection of Jesus (1 Peter 1:3-4), which guarantees our own resurrection and hope. Furthermore, Hebrews 6:17-19 reveals that God swore an oath to confirm His promise to believers, making our hope an anchor for our souls, firm and secure.
