How do we know that our life is hidden with Christ?

In Colossians 3:3, Paul states, 'For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.' This profound truth teaches that believers are spiritually united with Christ, meaning our identity and new life are secured in Him. This unity with Christ indicates that what we once were—dead in sin—is replaced with a new existence that is eternally protected.
