How do we know that our prayers are heard by God?

Answered in 1 source

We know our prayers are heard because of the authority of Christ and our faith in Him.

We can be assured that our prayers are heard by God based on the authority of scripture and the promises made by Christ. In Luke 11:9, Jesus states, 'Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.' This declaration serves as our foundation for confidence in prayer. Additionally, our prayers must be made in the name of Jesus, acknowledging His mediator role and authority. The conditions for effective prayer include a sincere heart, a belief in Jesus Christ, and a commitment to love others. When we align our hearts with God's will, we can trust that our cries are attended to by the Father.
