How do we know that our profession of faith is true?

Our profession is authenticated by who Jesus Christ is—our apostle and high priest. The assurance we have in our faith is derived from the character and nature of Christ, who is fully God and fully man, and He cannot fail. The thief on the cross exemplified this when he recognized Jesus as Lord despite his limited knowledge. His declaration of faith—'Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom'—shows an understanding that salvation is secured through Christ alone. The certainty of our profession rests on the reliability of Christ, underscoring the essential truth of the historic Christian faith.
