How do we know that our salvation is secure in Christ?

Answered in 6 sources

We are assured of our salvation's security through the promise of God's unchanging covenant and Christ's redemptive work (Romans 8:38-39).

The security of our salvation is rooted in the eternal covenant of grace that God established, wherein Christ functions as our surety. As expressed in Romans 8:38-39, nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus, emphasizing the eternal nature of our union with Him. This covenant assures us that not only are we called to salvation, but we are also preserved in it. Our faith rests not on our merits but on Christ's righteousness, securing our standing before God for eternity. The believer's assurance is therefore founded on God's faithfulness rather than our fluctuating circumstances.
