How do we know that pastors are called by God?

The calling of pastors is not merely a decision made by individuals but is a work of God Himself. In Galatians 1:15-16, we see that Paul acknowledges his separation by God for the gospel's sake, which aligns with the idea that a true pastor will be appointed by the Lord. It is evident through the life experiences and preparation God orchestrates in the individual that they are called to serve. Furthermore, the acknowledgment of the congregation plays a significant role; the church's recognition of the pastor's gifts and calling is an extension of God's affirmation.
