How do we know that people can be spiritually resurrected?

Answered in 1 source

The spiritual resurrection of individuals is anchored in God's ability to give life where there is death, as illustrated in the account of Ezekiel.

Ezekiel's vision of the dry bones represents the spiritual state of humanity, being dead in trespasses and sins. In Romans 5:12, it's stated that through Adam, sin and death have spread to all men. However, resurrection is possible because of God's sovereign will. As demonstrated in Ezekiel 37:3, when God asks, 'Can these bones live?' it emphasizes that only God knows, reminding us of the necessity for divine intervention. Similarly, in John 5:21, it declares that the Son quickens whom He wills, illustrating that spiritual life is completely dependent on God's power and action rather than human capability.
