How do we know that preaching the gospel is not in vain?

Answered in 1 source

We know preaching the gospel is not in vain because it is empowered by the Holy Spirit to accomplish God's purposes.

The assurance that preaching the gospel is not in vain comes from the promise of God that His Word will achieve its intended purpose. As stated in Isaiah 55:11, God's word will not return void, meaning when the gospel is proclaimed with the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit, it will reach those for whom it is intended and transform lives. Believers can therefore trust that when the gospel is preached faithfully, it will bear fruit according to God's divine plan.
