How do we know that righteousness comes from God?

Righteousness comes not from our own works but as a divine gift from God. As stated in Proverbs 28:12, those made righteous by God experience true joy and glory. Romans 3:20 highlights that no one can be justified by the works of the law; our right standing before God is achieved solely through faith in Christ. Ezekiel 16 illustrates that it is God who washes away our sins and adorns us in His righteousness. This divine act of grace transforms us and allows us to stand justified before Him.
