How do we know that salvation comes from seeing Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is found in a sight of Christ, as he is our redemption and the embodiment of God's promise for eternal life.

The connection between salvation and seeing Christ is underpinned by biblical examples. In Luke 2:25-35, Simeon declares that upon seeing the baby Jesus, he has seen God's salvation. This act of seeing signifies not just a physical perspective but a deep spiritual awareness of who Jesus is—the one who saves. Similarly, in Numbers 21, the instructions to look upon the bronze serpent illustrate that recognition of one's need and looking towards God's provision yields healing and life. Salvation is linked with the act of beholding Christ in faith, understanding that He is the promised Savior who redeems us from our sins. Thus, to see Christ spiritually is to know Him and the salvation offered, confirming that our eternal hope rests in Him alone.
