How do we know that salvation is achieved through Christ alone?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible asserts that Christ is the sole mediator between God and man, and that salvation is found exclusively in Him.

Salvation is intricately linked to the person and work of Jesus Christ, as He is both the means and the mediator of our salvation. In John 17, Jesus confirms that the Father has given Him authority over all flesh to grant eternal life. Moreover, the Bible indicates that it is through His righteousness that we find acceptance before God, not through our own works. The doctrine of Christ's particular redemption asserts that He came to save a specific people whom the Father has given Him, thus emphasizing that salvation is an act of grace, entirely reliant on Christ's finished work on the cross. Therefore, to trust in any other means is to embrace a flawed salvation.
