How do we know that salvation is all about Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is grounded in Christ's redemptive work and not in human actions.

The sermon emphasizes that the gospel involves us but does not originate from us; it is entirely about what God has done through Christ. Ephesians 2:4 states, 'but God, who is rich in mercy,' indicating that our condition is one of spiritual deadness until God intervenes. Only through Christ's sacrifice and resurrection can we approach God, as He is both fully God and fully man, the necessary mediator between God and humanity. Salvation thus rests solely on His finished work.
