How do we know that salvation is all about God?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible asserts that salvation is solely the work of God, and we are to glory in Him for our salvation.

In Romans 2:28-29, Paul explains that true circumcision is a matter of the heart, indicating that salvation cannot be based on outward actions but is a spiritual transformation orchestrated by God. Consequently, boasting in salvation must focus on God's grace and sovereignty, not our efforts. In Christ, we find our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. It is through Him that we are justified and can genuinely glorify God, as highlighted in Isaiah 45:25: 'In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.' This reinforces the doctrine that salvation is solely by grace through faith, underscoring the glory that belongs to God alone.
