How do we know that salvation is all of Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is solely of Christ because He alone is the fit Savior who accomplishes redemption.

The sermon makes clear that salvation is completely dependent on Jesus Christ's work. Hebrews 2:10 emphasizes that it became Him to bring many sons to glory, validating that God's plan of salvation is not rooted in human action but in Christ's divine authority and ability. This underscores the doctrine of predestination, highlighting that God chooses whom He saves. As Paul Mahan illustrates, if anyone were to fail to be saved, it would signify inadequacy in Christ's ability to save, which contradicts the very essence of the Gospel. Thus, every individual that God elects will indeed be saved by Christ's redemptive work.
