How do we know that salvation is by Him?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is assuredly by Him as it is solely through Christ’s sacrifice and grace (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Salvation is articulated throughout Scripture as being by the grace of God and accomplished through the person of Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 states that we are saved by grace through faith, which is not of ourselves but a gift from God. This underscores the belief that our salvation depends entirely upon Christ's completed work on the cross. Additionally, passages such as Colossians 1:20 highlight that through His blood, Christ reconciles all things to Himself, affirming the exclusive role of Jesus in the salvific process. Hence, the foundation of salvation rests upon Him as both the means and the mediator between God and humanity.
