How do we know that salvation is certain for the elect?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture assures that Christ will not lose any of those given to Him by the Father (John 6:39).

The certainty of salvation for the elect is grounded in the promises of Scripture. Jesus clearly states in John 6:39 that 'this is the will of him that sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing.' The sovereign grace of God guarantees that those whom He has chosen will be saved, regardless of human circumstances or failures. The permanence of this salvation is further affirmed in Romans 8:28-30, which details the unbreakable chain of God's saving purpose that culminates in glorification. Thus, the assurance lies in God's unchanging nature and His faithful promise to save His people.
