How do we know that salvation is complete through Jesus?

Answered in 1 source

The declaration of 'It is finished' by Jesus signifies that all that was necessary for salvation has been accomplished.

When Christ declared 'It is finished,' He was affirming that the work of salvation was fully achieved. This signifies that every requirement of God's justice was met through His sacrifice. The full payment for sin was made, and hence, there is nothing left for humanity to do in order to be saved. Salvation comes through faith in Christ alone, as He drank the cup of God's wrath and bore the penalty for sin, ensuring that all for whom He died would be saved permanently and completely.
