How do we know that salvation is difficult for the rich?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus taught that it is difficult for the rich to enter the Kingdom of God due to their tendency towards pride and self-sufficiency.

In Luke 18:24-25, Jesus states, "How hard it is for rich people to get into the Kingdom of God!" This is attributed to their reliance on wealth, which can lead them away from dependence on God. Riches often foster pride, self-indulgence, and a lack of awareness about one's spiritual condition, making it harder for the rich to recognize their need for grace and salvation.
