How do we know that salvation is entirely the work of Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is the work of Christ as it is He who provides faith, repentance, and righteousness to His people.

The Bible clearly attributes the entire work of salvation to Christ alone. Ephesians 2:8-9 emphasizes that faith is itself a gift from God, stating, 'For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.' Furthermore, the process of sanctification, as described in Hebrews 10:14, shows that 'For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.' This indicates that not only does Christ provide our justification, but He also empowers our ongoing sanctification through His Spirit. The believer's entire spiritual journey, from faith to glory, is rooted in the redemptive work of Christ.
