How do we know that salvation is exclusive to some?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture teaches that Christ's redemptive work is specifically for those God has chosen.

The doctrine of election reveals that Christ's sacrificial death and the call to salvation apply to a specific group — His chosen people. Matthew 14 shows Jesus constraining His disciples to enter the ship, emphasizing His particular care for them among the multitudes. Similarly, John 10:27 states, 'My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.' This illustrates that Christ actively calls His chosen ones to faith and repentance. Ephesians 1:4 confirms this by teaching that God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, underscoring the exclusivity of salvation to those whom He has ordained.
