How do we know that salvation is only possible through the blood of Jesus?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is only possible through the blood of Jesus as it is the only sufficient sacrifice required by God to atone for sin.

Hebrews 10:4 states that it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins, indicating that animal sacrifices under the Old Covenant were insufficient. The only means of salvation is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, God's perfect sacrifice. This blood was necessary to fulfill the requirements of God's justice and satisfy His wrath against sin. Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins, and it is only through Jesus—who is both fully God and fully man—that we have access to salvation. As Romans 3:25 explains, God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement through the shedding of His blood. It is, therefore, the blood of Jesus that secures our redemption and hope.
