How do we know that salvation is secure in God's hands?

Answered in 1 source

Believers can trust in the security of their salvation as it is upheld by God's sovereign power.

The assurance of salvation originates from the sovereignty of God. Hebrews 7:25 states that Christ is able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, affirming that His intercession guarantees our eternal security. This doctrine reflects the unshakeable nature of Christ’s sacrifice and the covenant promise of God to keep His people. When we understand that it is not reliant upon our ability to maintain it but on God's faithfulness, we can rest assured that those truly called by God are secure in His hands.
