How do we know that salvation is through the truth?

Answered in 1 source

Salvation is obtained only through a true knowledge of Christ as revealed in Scripture.

The Bible clearly asserts that sinners are saved only by and through the truth, which is embodied in Jesus Christ. Romans 1:16 describes the gospel as the power of God for salvation, emphasizing that we must know the truth to be saved. The scripture states, 'You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.' This highlights that true knowledge of God, gained through His Word, is essential for salvation. It is through the truth of the gospel that we come to trust in Christ, the only way to eternal life.
