How do we know that seeking God is necessary for Christians?

Seeking God stems from our understanding of who He is—our light, salvation, and strength. Psalm 27:4 illustrates that the desire to dwell in the house of the Lord signifies a longing for communion with Him and for spiritual growth. For Christians, seeking God is not an optional endeavor; it is a vital aspect of our faith. This pursuit is evidence of the new life within us, illustrating our reliance on His grace and recognizing that apart from Him, we can do nothing. Seeking Him is, therefore, both a command and a response to His initiating love for us.
