How do we know that seeking God's face is important?

Answered in 1 source

Seeking God's face is important as it leads to a deeper relationship and understanding of His will for our lives.

The significance of seeking God's face lies in its transformative power for the believer. Psalm 105:4 instructs us to 'Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His face evermore,' indicating that continual pursuit of God fosters spiritual growth and reliance on His strength. Moreover, Romans 3:11 notes that 'there's none that seeketh after God,' revealing that our natural inclination does not lead us to seek Him sincerely. Thus, seeking God is a work of grace, initiated by Him. When we seek His face, we align ourselves with His character, purpose, and promise that 'he that seeketh findeth,' which assures us of His presence and guidance in our lives.
