How do we know that sin is like leprosy?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible compares sin to leprosy, indicating that both are incurable by human means and cause separation from God.

In the sermon, leprosy is described as a physical representation of sin's effects. Just as leprosy begins subtly and spreads quickly, so does sin infiltrate the human heart and ultimately leads to death (Romans 6:23). Both conditions are depicted as being loathsome and incurable by human efforts. The Scriptures assert that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), making all humanity spiritual lepers in need of healing that only God can provide. God's grace through the gospel is the remedy for our condition, emphasizing that it requires a divine miracle for restoration and healing.
