How do we know that someone has saving faith?

Answered in 1 source

Saving faith is demonstrated by a persistent commitment to Christ's word and a transformed life.

In John 8:36, Jesus states, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed." True saving faith goes beyond intellectual assent; it produces a life marked by a genuine commitment to Christ. If one continues in His word and experiences liberation from the bondage of sin, this is evidence of true saving faith. Additionally, this faith involves both the acknowledgment of truth and a relational understanding of Christ, who is the embodiment of that truth.
