How do we know that spiritual joy is found in Jesus?

The joy of a believer as described in the Scriptures is intimately connected to the person of Jesus Christ. In 1 Peter 1:8, the joy experienced by believers is linked to their love for Christ and their faith in Him, regardless of their physical sight of Him. The apostle John echoes this sentiment by expressing that true children of God will one day see Christ as He truly is, which will complete their joy.
