How do we know that the blood of Jesus secures our salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Our salvation is secured by the effectiveness of Christ's blood, which meets the demands of God's justice and offers us forgiveness.

The assurance of our salvation through the blood of Jesus is firmly established in the nature of Christ's sacrifice. Hebrews 9:12 tells us that Christ entered the holy place with His own blood, obtaining eternal redemption for us. This emphasizes the sufficiency and effectiveness of His sacrifice. Moreover, the blood of Jesus is the ultimate satisfaction of God's justice; without it, no forgiveness could be granted. The application of this blood, as seen in Exodus 12:13, assures us that when God looks upon those who believe, He sees the blood and grants us mercy, thereby excluding us from judgment. Hence, our understanding and belief in the efficacy of Christ’s blood provide us with lasting hope and assurance of salvation.
